Re: Brown: C-14 age profiles for ancient sediments and peat bogs (Origins 2:6-18)

There is an unfortunate error on p 10 of Origins, Vol. 2, Nol. 1. “Trummen” has been incorrectly listed as a peat bog. It is lake sediment and should be placed immediately preceding “Selent Lake V” under Sediment.

More complete data for Trummen (Radiocarbon 11:434; 12:535) cover the C-14 age range 1,130-11,730 and yield a Profile Shape Factor — 0.50.
