Clastic Dikes

Clastic dikes form when unconsolidated sediments are forced upward into overlying sediments by the weight of the accumulating sediments. Some clastic dikes intrude into layers supposedly many millions of years younger, indicating that the underlying sediments remained unconsolidated for unexpectedly long periods of alleged time. The Spirorbis Problem

A tiny marine worm, Spirorbis, constructs a calcareous tube, and is often found attached to shells and debris in the ocean. Fossil Spirorbis are sometimes common in coal beds. Some have suggested Spirorbis lived in fresh-water habitats in the past, but this is highly unlikely. It is more likely that coal formed in marine waters during the Flood.
